Speaker Profile: Daniel Merrill and Will Steffek, RYLA Campers!

Our speakers this week are Daniel Merrill and Will Steffek Daniel Ross Merrill was born and raised in Dallas, Texas! He lives here with his mother Amy Silverman Merrill, his father Randy Ray Merrill and his older brother Matthew Ryan Merrill. Daniel is currently the student body president at Jesuit College Prep as well as the founder and president of Jesuit Not For Sale and Brother For Others. He is a former member of Community Service Corps. and an active participant in his church, Highland Park United Methodist which he is joining (starting on Saturday) for a two week mission trip to Costa Rica. He plans on applying to Davidson College Early Admission with the hope of attending there fall of 2010.

Will Steffeck was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin and he also lived in Naperville, Illinois outside of Chicago for 10 years prior to moving to his current city of Plano, Texas. Will's mother Laura, is a Sector Manager at Texas Instruments and his Dad, Ed has been a stay at home Dad since 1995 when Will's brother Peter was born. He also has a 9 year old sister Claire. Will is very active at his high school Jesuit. He has been a member of various athletic teams, but is very proud of his progress on the swim team which includes being named an All American Swimmer this past season. Will has had a strong interest in Architecture since he was a little boy and expects to purse that path in college.
