Caresse Bucchan has been involved with RYLA since she was a camper in District 5810 in 2004. She has returned as an alumni staff member since then. she has just recently graduated with a BS in Psychology and a BA in International Studies from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana and is a recent recipient of the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to represent District 4910 in 2010. Caresse has just returned from International RYLA in Rugby, England. These experiences continue to fuel Caresse's passion for the worldwide changes that Rotary continues to make and hopes to one day work intensively for Rotary International with their Youth Programming.

Past Speaker Profile: Joe Chow, Mayor of Addison

Mayor Joe Chow spoke to us about his path from Taiwan to Oklahoma to Plano and finally, Addison, Texas. We learned how he took a job as a waiter and turned himself into a successful restauranteur. 

Mayor Chow's many diversified interests pushed him to become not only a realtor, but an insurance agent!

In his spare time, of course, he is the Mayor of Addison, as well as serving on many Boards in the D/FW area.
