April 20th: Howard Stephen Berg, The World's Fastest Reader

Howard Stephen Berg is recognized as the world's fasted reader thanks to the cutting edge accelerated learning techniques he developed that turn information overload into information assets. Respected internationally for his contribution to the learning process, he is listed in the 1990 Guisness Book of World REcords for reading more than 25,000 words a minute and writing more than 100 words a minute. Howard uses his talents to train you on how to stay on top of the information your success depends on.

Your business success depends upon using information that doubles every six months! Yet, the average reading speed is only 200 words per minute. How can you possibly keep up with mission critical information. In a single session, the world's fastest reader will share with you:

  • How to cure slow reading speed so you can stay on top of information increasing your productivity - you will actually increase your reading speed during this event...GUARANTEED
  • How to target with laser precision precisely what to learn in a faction of the time
  • How to remember and recall information in a flash - you will learn a list of ten objects and be able to recall them all in less than three minutes in any sequence
  • How to instantly calculate complicated numbers in your head instantly
  • Much, much, more

Howard is a graduate of S.U.N.Y., Binghamton where he majored in Biology and then completed a four-year Psychology program in one year. His graduate studies at several New York City colleges focused on the Psychology of reading.

Howard has experienced a diverse range of careers and created more than 14 learning programs. He has appeared on over 1,00 radio and television programs and been featured in dozens of newspapers and magazines.

April 13th: Karen Cortell Reisman, M.S. "Einstein's Cousin"

Karen Cortell Reisman, M.S.

Since 1992, Karen Cortell Reisman, M.S. has taught corporate and association audiences how to communicate, sell, and thrive.

Karen spoke to us about her cousin, Albert Einstein, and read us excerpts of his letters that he sent to her grandmother, Lena. She spoke of how her Dad and her two siblings left Nazi Germany in the 30's, each going to a different country and how she was taught that America was the land of freedom. Her dad came to America a wealthy man, but lost everything in the depression, but he remade himself as a bra salesman.

That is where she learned C=A+A+A  (Acceptance, Attitude, Action). The big take away from the event was not just that Karen was a great speaker, but that you have options, you can Bat your Wings, Ruffle your Feathers, or Sit on your Perch.

She also told us that Einstein had great angst over the fact that his invention went to help the atom bomb be invented.
