The Rotary Group Study Exchange (GSE) is came to Addison and spoke to us on the April 26th. Five gentlemen came from India, they included Dr. Nikhil Srivastva, an oral surgeon; Neeraj Gupta is a banker; Sakand Bali is teacher; Naveen Goel is an attorney; and Salil Dev Singh Bali an attorney.
They came to Addison and were shown around town, had a wonderful visit with Addison's Mayor Joe Chow. They also got to visit Mary Kay and tour their plant. Then on the 26th the came and spoke to our group and told us all about India and the various places within India where they were from. It was interesting to learn that there are 26 languages spoken in India and that each state in India has 3 official languages. English is the official language of business in India, so any of us that wish to visit would be able to easily communicate throughout the country. We also learned about their native foods, entertainment and sports.
Happy 6th Birthday Addison Midday Rotary!
