Hello, my name is Deena Israel. I graduated college at Eastern Kentucky University with a Therapeutic Recreation Degree in Science. I landed my first job with the town of Addison, my first and only interview. I have had the joy of working here for the Town of Addison for 23 years. I have had many different roles at the Addison Athletic Club. I first Started as the Children’s Coordinator and oversaw all children’s programs for 7 years, then moved over to Senior Coordinator and programmed for all the town seniors for 9 years, then moved to Recreation Supervisor for 5 years, and now have been promoted to Program Recreation Manager with senior programs for the past year. Its been a crazy and fun journey but I would not have changed a thing. I love creating community for the Town of Addison. It gives pure joy to bring community together. |

Watertower Theatre
May 09, 2023
Brian is glad to be home and working with WTT again as the new Director of Audience and Benefactor Development. He's been fortunate enough to work in theaters and venues all over the country, plus some TV, and a brief stop in London, England. (I dunno, one minute I was sword fighting in the New Amsterdam Theatre, and then BAM…everyone talked British for two weeks.) He is married to Ashley Puckett Gonzales, a genius. (She's also a terrifying empath, and Brian’s best friend in the world.) They have two sons. Simon, a Godzilla fan, who has ASD, SPD, OCD, and Anxiety Disorder- yet chooses joy, practices flexibility, and thinks of others more than he realizes. And then there’s Gideon, the more spectral of the two, who goes his way. Brian likes cheese and tree sloths. |

Exodus Ministries
May 23, 2023
Susan graduated from University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a minor in Psychology. She has been married to the most fabulous man in the world for over 32 years, has two amazing children, and a wonderful daughter-in-love. Her oldest son is married and living in Indianapolis where her daughter-in-love will graduate this May with her Doctorate in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Her youngest son works in IT at a company in the Dallas area. God called Susan and her husband, Paul, to homeschool their children when they were still toddlers, so she retired from her job as an Executive Administrator to train up their children and follow God’s call on her heart. They homeschooled both children from Kindergarten through High School Graduation, and taught many others along the way. Once their youngest went off to college, God called Susan to serve "the least of these", "the forgotten", "the marginalized" -- formerly incarcerated women and their children. She is currently the Executive Director for Exodus Ministries. She has found that, at Exodus, God uses everything He has given her to serve these families every day --counseling, advice, wisdom, discipline, insight, encouragement and creativity. It's all part of her daily job. She says she is truly blessed to have the privilege of a front row seat to watch God move in the lives of these women and children. He performs miracles every day and occasionally He allows her to participate. Praise God for His mercy and redemption! Her motto is the “Bloom where you are planted” and she has certainly done that. She thinks that Erma Bombeck said it best when she wrote, “ When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.” |

Defense by Design UFO's, the Military & the Media
May 30, 2023
Today, the topic of UFOs (or UAPs as they are now being called) have captured the interest of the media, of Congress, of academia, of NASA, and of course the military. But why? What is it about this subject that has been in the public discourse for some 75 years that caused such a resurgence in today's culture? Maybe at least a partial answer can be found in the context and history of the phenomena which will be discussed in this program. BIO: Jeff McKissack will be our presenter, covering some of the major points of consideration and context as we collectively consider what this phenomena could be as well as why it has come to the forefront of our collective consciousness in contemporary culture. Jeff has spoken to numerous clubs in the area in the past regarding his regular safety/security work, but this presentation that has now been given to numerous other clubs in the area promises to be quite literally "out of this world." |
