Hello Metrocrest Volunteers,
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with StreetSide Showers to offer showers to our unsheltered neighbors in our service area. Starting Friday, February 3, they will be bringing their trailer to North Dallas Family Church in Carrollton from 10 am – 1:30 pm to provide showers to up to 35 unsheltered individuals. Through this partnership, we have an opportunity that we wanted to share with you – StreetSide Showers is looking for individual volunteers to serve as shower valets. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up individually through StreetSide Showers at https://www.signupgenius.
StreetSide Showers is also in desperate need of a licensed cosmetologist to help with haircuts. You can sign up to be a barber/hairstylist through the volunteer link above.
