METROCREST SERVICES CEREAL BOX CHALLANGE

On June 14 (Flag Day) Mary Jo has challenged us to fill her SUV with Cereal Boxes!

This summer, we’re collecting cereal boxes for Metrocrest Services that will be distributed to children during the Sack Summer Hunger program and the Food Pantry.

Remember eating cereal as a child? As an Adult?  What was your favorite? Bring 4 -8 boxes to our June 14 meeting.

Funny story - In southern Illinois there is a town of Creal Springs.  Twice a year the Boy Scout troop where I was Assistant Scoutmaster drove through this town about 9:00pm after driving for 3 hours - we were going backpacking in the Shawnee National Forest. I convinced some Scouts the name of the town was Cereal Springs, which many of them called it for several years.

So, remember this is a Cereal Drive and not a Creal Drive
