Lauren Marold
The Modality of Story Telling
Lauren Marold will be speaking on the Modality of Story Telling. As humans, we have built our understanding of the world through oral tradition. Storytelling builds empathy and develops connections between people as we seek to better understand our own experiences in life. Lauren will share ideas on how we can continue to tell our stories and create lasting connections with our families, friends, and communities.
Lauren was is a 2002 RYLA Alumni and has been a speaker and counselor for that program for many years. She has an undergraduate degree in Painting from Texas State University, a Masters from SMU in Liberal Studies and Creative Writing, and a Masters from George Washington University in Educational Technology Leadership. She has just accepted the position of Director of Technology at Preston Hollow Presbyterian School in Dallas.
