February 10 Meeting
Michael Gallops, President
Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce
The "Metrocrest" refers to three communities that sit geographically in the crest of the Dallas metropolitan area - Addison, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch.

The Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce has three main priorities: 1) continue to serve as the champion for and support local business, 2) provide timely resources for employers and employees, and 3) continue to deliver value and stay the course. Our guiding principle in situations like this is to focus on where we’ll be afterwards as a business community.

Michael joined the chamber from a distinguished background within the chamber of commerce industry, where he most recently served as the President and CEO of the Rowlett Area Chamber & Visitors Center. During his tenure at the Rowlett Area Chamber, he initiated groundbreaking entrepreneurship training, established a groundbreaking workforce development initiative in collaboration with the Garland ISD, enhanced advocacy efforts significantly, and steered the chamber through the rigorous U.S. Chamber of Commerce Accreditation program, earning a prestigious 4-Star Accreditation.

Michael says, “I’m absolutely delighted to be a part of this exciting journey. Taking on the role of President and CEO at the Metrocrest Area Chamber is a privilege, and I’m eager to use my experience and expertise to lead us towards our objectives. Exciting times are ahead for the Addison, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch communities!”

Join us Tuesday for an update on the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce.
