The Dallas Fire Rescue is celebrating 150 years of servicing the City of Dallas and this public celebration will take place October 28-30, 2022 (this Friday-Sunday) at the Ladders and Lagers Festival held at Community Beer and hosted by the Dallas Firefighter's Museum. This festival is only held once and once only.
They are in need of volunteers because the event has grown. They specifically need several positions and Firefighter Challenge (ESPN will be there too!). You can see all the volunteer opportunities available here: https://www.laddersandlagers.org/volunteer. All volunteers will receive a festival shirt and other goodies.
The Festival will have live entertainment, kids' zone, firefighter challenge, Fletcher's Corny Dogs, a custom beer to celebrate called Valor, and more. We could really use some volunteers to support them as we celebrate.
