AMRC received this Thank You note from Chloe Keggen. Chloe was one of our selected campers for Camp RYLA 2020 and she successfully completed our virtual camp RYLead yesterday. Her cabin won the coveted Camp Cup which is a camp long competition with many elements.
Another of our campers, Kevin Utz, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship yesterday for his exceptional work throughout RYLead. Only five scholarships were awarded from the 70 students who completed all six modules of RYLead. The scholarships were provided by the RYLA 5810 Foundation.
Dear Mr. Duffy,
Early last year, I reached out to you in hopes of getting involved with RYLA. A few emails and an interview later, I found myself excited for the opportunity to join the RYLead family. I want to thank you for this opportunity and these lessons that I’ve learned in each module.
We just concluded our last module, and we reflected on the past few months. My cabin, Cabin 9 *cough cough the winning cabin cough*, shared how we feel at home in the RYLA family. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of that.
I hope to continue being involved with RYLA 5810, and I am so excited for what the future holds.
